DON’FALL FOR IT II: The falsification of the history
DON’FALL FOR IT II: The falsification of the history
The second part of Don’t Fall for It emphasizes the clarifying intention already shown by Fr. Javier Olivera Ravasi in his first volume of the same title. In the times we live in, characterized by a deliberately perverse and alienating bombing by TV and media, the everyday expression “don’t fall for it” becomes for readers a wake-up call so that they won’t swallow – literally – any news or interpretation about subject already formatted and elaborated like candy – seemingly attractive but, in reality, indigestible and even poisonous. It often becomes a definitive and untouchable, but fallacious, judgment, although there is a great deal to investigate, authenticate, review and reconsider so as not to admit underhanded falsifications (from the Prologue).
